A white mage of considerable skill as well as a culinarian
and weaver, well known for her exploits assisting others
in need. Now that chapter closes as she leaves the world
of people for longer periods with only a chocobo for
company, magnanimous about the realm's affairs as she
becomes ever further unmoored from the societies she had
worked diligently to save or rebuild.There will always be wounds to be mended, the scared to be
comforted; and yet one person can only do so much before
they become jaded; less willing and able to give. The question,
"Do I belong?" moves closer to, "What is belonging?"Having learned her formal name, she has a new curiosity:
knowing the history of her family and why they died. Ellenis
desires to understand the events leading to her birth.The cost of this knowledge is steep: for unclear reasons, she is ordered to join the nobility that is her birthright; though she
hadn't sought it. Per noble tradition, she must eventually
wed a man approved by her lord uncle, Count de Daimbaux.Efforts to delay that day's arrival have been exhausted, as her
lord uncle's patience is finite. Ellenis is convinced she must
surrender the freedom she nearly died for to something she
stopped considering years ago, and resents it.

At half again the size of Eorzean chocobos, Aer is readily
identifiable in some parts of the realm due to being larger
than most of his own Dravanian kin, with aggression to
match. He is known to be hostile to men specifically and is
confirmed to have slain at least one who tried to attack his
mistress. The bloodstains along his beak and talons belong
to beasts as well as men, further proof of his pugnacious
personality. Claims that he is a carnivore are untrue, but
a rumor Ellenis lets perpetuate for convenience.Hand raised by Ellenis since he was but a hatchling able
to fit into her travel satchel, Aer will eat from only her
hand and obey her commands; though will at times
act independently. Those who see Aer in passing can
assume that she isn't far away. Otherwise indifferent
to others so long as they keep their distance in turn or
present themselves as nonthreatening, Aer considers
her part of his territory and all others as intruders.
Those who wish to approach should do so with care
lest they be sharply rebuffed before Ellenis can react.
